
Submissions for the first issue are open until the 15th of September 2021!
Submissions must be in line with the theme of 'Expanding the way we view ourselves and each other.'
Interpret this theme how you like.
Submissions can be created from any medium you like. Just photograph or scan the work so that it can be printed in the physical copy of the magazine and used for the website/instagram.
How to submit:
Email 5-10 JPEG images of your artwork, series or project along with a PDF file containing your bio, artist statement and any social media/website links to: fluidthinking_magazine@hotmail.com
-Images are to be JPEG at 300dpi and 210x297mm
If you are submitting a video work
-Upload your video to Youtube or Vimeo and email us the link, along with the stills you would like printed in the physical copy of the magazine and a 1 minute long excerpt as a mov. video file for instagram.
-Stills are to be JPEG at 300dpi and 210x297mm
Files can be emailed as attachments or via dropbox / we transfer
Anyone can submit, no qualifications necessary.
Especially encouraging of neurodivergent and disabled artists to submit and will be giving these artists priority.
You can submit from anywhere in the world!
We'd also like to promote exhibitions so let us know if you've got any exhibitions coming up.
Email us the exhibition details with a link to the Facebook event along with a JPEG of the exhibition flyer.
Please include details of accessibility such as:
-If the exhibition has trigger warnings
-Points of access/ are there stairs / is the venue wheelchair accessible
-Are there bathrooms
-Will there be alcohol present
-Are there bright lights/ loud noises/ loud music
-Is there a quiet space people can retreat to if they need
-How do you plan to make the event more accessible for those with access needs
